In the truck on a sunny Sunday afternoon

Young woman out for a stroll;
Young guys with hair

Two senior women on the corner with their walkers,
out for the big event of an escape from loneliness and rain-bound apartments.

Somewhere between,
I confess to myself - the self-proclaimed optimist - 
that occasionally I struggle to see the cup half-full.
