Tsunami Count
Since the Asian Tsunami struck on December 26, 2004, almost daily the News headlines have dramatically raised the death toll. As I write, about two weeks after the disaster, the estimate is 150,000 dead, with another very large number missing. I struggle to comprehend this magnitude, and try to visualize what a number like this could 'look' like. Today I found something to assist with this. Todd Binder has this page: http://www.toddbinder.com/Toll.aspx
I still can't comprehend this catastrophe, but at least I have some help with imagining the number. Thank you Todd.
